2025/26 is the 17th year of the Trust
We have continued to update the website with reports received from those who have benefitted from the gifts we give to Arvon, The Quentin Blake Centre and Fulham Palace. These reports show how the funds are used.
The Website continues to develop and keeps Barbara and Philip’s life alive and shows how people are benefitting from their Trust. We are grateful for the help from me&him each year to update the website.
The Trustees have taken the decision to continue to support the same three beneficiaries and we will be gifting these all in January.
The Arvon Foundation will receive £15000 in January 2026 for courses and workshops for a wide range of Students. Ted and Clara have made visits to The Hurst, previously the home of John Osborne in Shropshire to meet managers and students taking part in workshops at the centre
Fulham Palace will receive £30000 in January 2026 to support Their Horticultural Apprenticeship Jenny and Clara visited April 2024 and 2025
The Quentin Blake Centre will receive £20000 in January 2026 to fund various projects over the months until an Illustrator in residence can be started again when appropriate. Jenny and Clara visited in January 2024 and Jenny went in October 2025.
We highly recommend a visit to the gardens at Fulham Palace. The House of Illustration has now moved from Kings Cross and have a new site, New River Head in Clerkenwell. The centre is now called The Quentin Blake centre
The Trust Funds continues to be invested by Altorfer Financial Management Ltd. The funds continue to grow which allows The Trustees to continue to award funds of more than £65000 this year.
We continue to look to the future and are looking for more ideas and planning the way forward for the Trust and how to continue to use the funds with care.
